Vinted Members Share Displeasure Regarding Size Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The company said the new system was more in line with other platforms.
The platform has recommended to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Changes
Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
